Meet the Team

Richard Watters, Managing Director

Richard Watters is the managing director and founder of A Quick Sale. He launched the business in October 2003 after identifying a gap in the market for an ethically-led property investment company that offers an open and honest solution to people needing to sell their houses quickly.

Prior to setting up A Quick Sale, Richard had worked in property investment for a number of years. This experience, combined with the open and honest approach he is committed to, led to the company growing from a pilot operation based in the North East to a national business covering the whole of the UK within 12 months. After just two years, A Quick Sale had become the UK's number one property investment company.

An ardent Sunderland fan, Richard enjoys following his football team as well as the national team in his spare time. His passion for property also extends to his own home and garden and he likes to relax by spending time with his two young grandchildren.

Glenn Ackroyd, Director

After 13 years as a lawyer, Glenn became a director of A Quick Sale in September 2005. During his time within the legal sector he has gained a wealth of experience having helped many clients with property-related repossession advice.

Another dedicated football supporter, when Glenn isn't spending time with his wife; Jayne and their two children, William and Mia, he is watching Bradford City FC, having committed to a 25 year season ticket. Family allegiances are split though with his wife insisting that the children are brought up to support Halifax Town!

Jes Bullock, Director

Before becoming A Quick Sale director in January 2005, Jes had built his own property portfolio from a part-time interest, to taking on the job of buying and refurbishing properties for re-sale on a full time basis in 2004.
