Buy-back option

In addition to offering a sale and lease back facility, we can also offer a buy back option.

We buy the property and a buy-back option is agreed with a 5-year deadline. There would normally be a nominal charge for this option. The option would allow a buy back at a pre-agreed price, ratcheted for each year up until year 5.

For example:

  • if the buy back option was exercised within the first 2 years, the price could be £200,000
  • if the buy back option was exercised between years 3 and 4, the price could be £225,000
  • if the buy back option was exercised after year 4 and before the option expired, the price could be £250,000

If the option was not exercised within the 5 year term we may be happy to agree a new buy-back option should the tenant request it.
