What happens if both parties don't agree to the sale?
Ideally, we'd like all parties to agree on a sale to us. We work to find solutions
which are mutually beneficial to everyone - you, your spouse or partner, and us.
It ultimately depends however, on who has legal ownership of your property. We are
unable to proceed unless the legal owner(s) agree to the sale. If there are legal
complications we can recommend a solicitor, and in some cases we'll pay your legal
fees (up to £500).
How do you ensure any monies are divided equally?
We'll work with you to share money and equity according to your wishes. We are always
completely up-front and transparent in our dealings with you and we'll talk you
through the outcomes of the alternatives open to you. With divorce and separation
it is sometimes better to have an impartial third-party take care of the financial
matters and divide money up equally without dispute.
