A Quick Sale Franchises
The founder and current day M.D. of A Quick Sale (AQS), had built a portfolio of
investment properties in Yorkshire and the North East, all of these having been
purchased below market value (BMV) through strong links with local Estate Agents
and Letting Agents.
In October 2003, AQS was set up as a local operation in North East England, to source
BMV properties, as these were becoming increasingly difficult to find through the
more traditional channels, with so many investors jumping on the bandwagon. Consumer
advertisements were placed in local press and directories, and a website was launched,
all aimed at people who needed a quick property sale. From the start, AQS communicated
their high standards and "win/win" approach, refreshing in a business where profiting
at others' expense was the norm.
Following a successful pilot operation, a number of affiliates were recruited to
cover key U.K. locations, which enabled AQS to market nationally. What followed
was quite astonishing, with hundreds of enquiries being generated each week, and
additional affiliates being recruited to ensure these enquiries could be managed.
By mid-2005 AQS had full national coverage with over 80 affiliates, and had become
the U.K.'s number 1 property buyer.
Top quality management and systems were introduced during this period to support
both the affiliates and their customers.
Many of the early affiliates were part-time property investors. The majority of
these have since devoted themselves full-time to AQS to take advantage of the fantastic
opportunities to build their wealth. The average purchase level is one property
per month, although several people are buying more than twice this number. Each
property typically has equity from day one of £15,000 or more.
In May 2006 the structure of the business was changed to a Franchise, with almost
all of the existing affiliates converting to franchisee status.
Whilst we believe AQS offers an unrivalled financial opportunity within the franchise
sector, it also provides a unique community of like-minded people. We firmly believe
that "the sum of the parts is greater than the whole" and strive to create an open
and sharing mentality through our intranet forum, regular networking evenings, training
events and national meetings.
To see if the AQS culture is likely to be right for you, we suggest that following
initial discussions with one of our Directors and signing of a Confidentiality Agreement,
you attend a regional networking event (organised by franchisees, not management)
and meet and talk with existing franchisees. This should enable you to ascertain
if AQS is right for you.
