'Mr S'...  had become infirm and was waiting for a place in a Nursing Home. We purchased his property and exchanged contracts so that he had a legally binding sale, but with completion agreed for up to 6 months later, by which time his place in the Home would be available. After 4 months this became available and we completed the purchase that week.
